Ableton Live 9 Intro: Update on Disabled Save & Export

So I've been fiddling around with the sessions I have from my other license for Ableton Live Lite 7, there are some I can open and others that I cannot, the difference being if a session from Ableton Live Lite 7 ever used at anytime one of these 5 effects; EQ Eight, Resonators, Filter Delay or Dynamic Tube the session will only open with save and export disabled in Ableton Live 9 Intro. Even if I open the session in Live Lite 7 first, remove the offending effects save the session in Live Lite 7, and then open in Live 9 Intro the session will only open with save and export disabled. My guess as an engineer is that by just dragging any of those five effects into a session in Live Lite 7 dirties the meta data for the session by adding the effect to the history of the session, possibly creating a back door for using these effects in a version of Live where they are otherwise not available. That is my guess anyway, and as an engineer I understand the challenge, but as a customer I'm disappointed. The question is now, can I clean the meta data of the session so that the session is openable in Live 9 Intro without having save and export disabled. I'm going to try two different approaches.

1: Use "Save A Copy" to create a duplicate of the session without the offending effect.

2: Look and see if I can delete the offending metadata from the session.

The first should be non destructive, but the second could very well destroy the session so that it can't be opening in either version of Live.

Using "Save A Copy" after removing the offending effect doesn't get around the bug in opening the session in Live 9 Intro, and there appears to be no way to separate the history metadata from the session. As a customer very disappointing, as an engineer I can kind of understand, but my sense of being extorted as a customer is hard to get over.

A use case to beware of, should you collaborate with a friend who has a different version of Ableton Live than you do this bug could effect you. Should one of you just drag in an effect or package that the other does not have, you will dirty the metadata for the session and the session will no longer be openable by your friend. I almost can't believe this is true and I will continue to look into this, but for right now I feel a little taken. :(
